a lot of people tell me that this one reminds them on works of dali. while i was working it out i had absolutely no intention to do so. so i was suprised when i found out that the people are right.

terragen, photoshop and apophysis were used to create this piece.

original size 5000x3333

actually this pic is a heavy terragen manipulation. since i found no kind of 'misc' gallery here i think 3d/uncat. were the best choice.

.... i really dislike the texturing of the water and the horrible rendering of the mountains, to be honest haha.

Those curvy clouds were excellent idea, it's just in the middle in between real and unreal. Colors as well.

As starqueen mentioned, bumps on the water doesn't look good. Liquid is liquid, no matter if it's water or nitrogen. Okay, if it has viscosity like honey, mmm .... maybe it's allright then.

I like the work. Could use some modifications on the textures. The angle of the reflections on the water doesn't seem right. Maybe some kind of border to keep my eyes from wandering off would help a bit. Other than that, very nice. Well balanced, and nice colors.

The landscape could do with a bit more thought, especially the mountains on the right - the sharp peaks don't fit in with the rest of the image

Thank God for light. How absolutely divine are those swirling clouds and the colours in this work. This is good work. The only drawback is the mountain like object in the front. Something feels wrong. But a said the top makes my heart sing.
